So in my Culture, Race and Media class the teacher had us explain a few things about ourselves. She gave us a specific list to answer though such as ethnicity, religion, family structure etc…
This being in an art school it was no surprise to me that most of the students denounced their faith or never had one. There were a few (like two) who were Christian. When it came to be my turn to talk regarding the religion part I said “I’m learning and practicing Kemetic Orthodoxy”. I met w/ stares and poker faces. These simple minds had no idea what I was talking about lol Maybe one day I will explain to them what it is.
